Deputy Executive Director
Regional Security System (RSS)
Atlee P. Rodney is a veteran Caribbean security and crisis-response leader with more than 40 years of operational experience across policing, public safety, and regional coordination. Beginning his career in 1982 with the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda, he served in key operational units including CID, Narcotics, Special Services, Prosecution, and multiple district commands. His early participation in the first RSS deployment to Grenada (1983–1984) marked the start of a long and active affiliation with the Regional Security System.
A highly experienced instructor and facilitator, Mr Rodney has trained officers across the Caribbean in leadership, communication, crisis management, humanitarian law, and disaster response. His secondment to RSS Headquarters in 2014 as Staff Officer for Operations and Plans placed him at the centre of multi-country coordination, including leading the RSS deployment to Dominica following Tropical Storm Erika. He later served as Commissioner of Police in Antigua and Barbuda, where he prioritised infrastructure improvement, capacity building, and officer wellbeing, earning the Queen’s Police Medal (QPM) for outstanding service.
In 2025, Mr Rodney was appointed Deputy Executive Director of the RSS, bringing decades of operational insight to regional security cooperation. Fluent in Spanish and widely respected across Caribbean law enforcement and disaster-management communities, he brings practical, field-tested leadership to ADR2027’s focus on operational resilience and regional coordination.
